MTC mobile phone services (Mobile Telecommunications Company) , which is a Kuwaiti telecommunications company with a wide range of mobile networks ‘both in the Middle East and Africa’, is offered across all AAIB branches. The service will offer a full range of benefits to MTC subscribers, whether Kuwaiti residents or tourists in Egypt or Egyptian residents in Kuwait. AAIB acquires 100%
of Misr America International Bank

Cairo, May 23, 2005 - AAIB announced its acquisition of 100% of Misr America International Bank’s shares for L.E 239.5 million pursuant to the complete merger expected to be finalized at a later stage. This comes as part of AAIB’s strategic plan to expand its banking operations and strengthen its presence in the local market.
