AAIB is committed to nurturing the professional development of new generations of young people considering a career in banking. Our Summer Internship programme is tailor-made to provide on-the-job training for students. It gives you the opportunity to experience the realities of working in the banking industry before committing to it as a career.


BENEFITS


By being introduced to professional life you will gain general experience of the banking industry and awareness of various bank operations.
Work experience allows you to recognize your strengths and interests, and improve your communication skills.
Knowledge of the working environment enables you to focus your academic objectives more clearly.
The internship will feature on your CV when you graduate.


Internships are available at all AAIB branches in the following departments: Visa Operations and Administration; Sales/Retail; Customer Service; General Accounting; and IT. Our Human Resources department places successful applicants in the department appropriate to their academic background.


Internships run for one month during the summer holidays (beginning mid-June, mid-July, mid-August, and mid-September) with compensation provided for the duration.




ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA


Satisfactory completion of at least one full year of a four-year Egyptian college or university course (i.e. Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors).
GPA of at least 3.0, or its equivalent (very good).
Letter of recommendation from college/university registrar.
