The solid growth of AAIB was reflected in the promising financial results achieved for the end of 2007. The bank net profit surged by a remarkable growth rate of 72% real million compared to US$ 74 million in December 2006. Total assets recorded an increase hitting a figure of US $8 billion compared to US$ 5 billion for the year 2006. The bank's loan portfolio reached US $2.8 billion from US$ 1.4 billion, an increase of 100% when compared to the year 2006. Likewise, customer deposits realized a significant growth rate of 46% amounting to US$5.1 billion against last year of US $3.5 billion.
