On Monday July 3rd, 2006 - AAIB celebrated the ‘finale’ of the 3rd Annual Arab
African International Bank Award (AAIB Award) 2006 for the first time at Cairo
University, in The Great Festival Hall. AAIB Award witnessed a triumphant
closing, where out of nine prospective winning teams, three ambitious teams
were applauded and rewarded both monetary and non-monetary rewards. Guests
included: university representatives, AAIB top management and staff,
participating universities' students and faculty, participants with their
friends and families, as well as Media.
 The panel on stage presented the prizes. The panel included 5
members, AAIB VC & MD, Mr. Hassan Abdalla in addition to representatives of the
4 participating universities as follows: Dr. Ali Abd El Rahman, President of
Cairo University, Dr. Ashraf El Feqi, AUC Vice President of Student Affairs,
Dr. Ismail Tag – Manager of Arab Academy for Science & Technology and Maritime
Transport (AAST) – Cairo Branches, and Dr. Mohamed El Masry – Dean of
Management October University for Modern Sciences & Arts (MSA).

It’s worth mentioning that the year 2008 will mark a very special anniversary
of the Award as it will witness its 5th round, where wider exposure and a
fierce competition will be awaiting university students to go through an
unforgettable experience and gain exceptional rewards. Wait for the upcoming
