While last year the Award engaged solely AUC , this year AAIB Award expanded
further to include Cairo University : Faculty of Commerce and Faculty of
Economics and Political Science (English Sections), and AUC.
On June 21, 2005 AAIB Award witnessed a triumphant closing at the
Ewart Hall, in the AUC, where out of twelve prospective winning teams, three
were rewarded both monetary and non-monetary rewards.
This year, AAIB Award applauded 3 winning teams, all of which were
from Cairo University. Mr. Hassan Abdalla, Vice Chairman and Managing Director
of AAIB, Professor. Dr. Aly Abd El Rahman, President of Cairo University and
Professor. Dr. Tim Sullivan, Provost of the AUC and Mr. Hani Tawfik , Chairman of International Investment, presented the prizes to the
ambitious teams.
The first prize winner was Golden Team, they were rewarded the grand
prize of L.E. 15,000 for their project Golden Basket. . The team members were
Sally Refaat , Passant Hegazi, Reem El Agami, Mahmoud El-Masary from Faculty of
Economics and Political Science. |

The 2nd prize winner was Think Tank, they were rewarded L.E.10,000 for
their project Elite Bouquet. The team members were Dalia Ashour, Eman Abdel
Salam, Engy Farghal, and Hatem Sabry from Faculty of Economics and Political
Science.
