Hassan Abdalla is the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Arab African International Bank: an international bank based in Egypt and substantiated by a network of regional branches.

Mr Abdalla is a Board Member of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) and the Cairo and Alexandria Stock Exchange (CASE), as well as a member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of UBAF Bank – Hong Kong.

Mr Abdalla is Chairman of the Economic Committee and member of the High Council for Policies .

Furthermore: he is Chairman of the Universal Investment & Development Company; Founder and Member of the Egyptian Junior Businessmen’s Association; a Board Member of the German Arab Chamber of Commerce, the Egyptian European Association for Economic & Social Development, and the Egyptian Capital Market Association; and Chairman of the Middle East, Far East and Africa Regional Committee – International Securities Market Association (ISMA) – Zurich. He is also a member of the Arab Business Council of the World Economic Forum, and the Egyptian Center for Economic Studies.

At the same time, Mr Abdalla is actively involved in management and training as Director of Training at the Egyptian-European Association. He is a part-time Faculty Member of Finance at the American University in Cairo; a Member of the Board of Trustees of the CBE Training Institute and the New York based Young President’s Organization (YPO); and Director of the Arab Bankers’ Association – London.

Mr Abdalla is a graduate of the American University in Cairo where he was awarded his BA and MA degrees in Business Administration.
